Recipe from Half Crown Hill Orchard

3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
3 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups apples peeled and grated
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In large mixing bowl, sift together the dry ingredients and mix together. Whisk together honey, eggs, vegetable oil and sour cream. Make a well in the
center of dry ingredients and add egg mixture. Mix well. Blend in apples, nuts and vanilla. Pour batter into 2 greased loaf pans.

Bake at 325 for 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
